Marathon runners brave the downpour in Yantian

At 7:30 this morning, 15,000 runners from 19 countries and regions braved the downpour to take part in the First Shenzhen Yantian Shanhai Half Marathon. Among the runners, more than 30 are foreign nationals and nearly 200 are from China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, according to the organizers. The event, under the theme of "Embracing the Mountains and Sea, Chasing Dreams in GBA," was hosted by the Yantian District People's Government.
