According to the official website of the Guinness World Records, Tang set the record in Shenzhen on March 26.
When Tang was in the second grade, he was introduced to soccer during summer vacation. Under the guidance of his coach, Lin Xiaozhong, Tang started with the basics and quickly demonstrated exceptional endurance and ball skills.

Following his coach’s advice, the young soccer enthusiast later set his sights on breaking the world record. During soccer club activities and coach-arranged training sessions, Tang did 30 minutes of warm-up and basic soccer skills training every morning, followed by two hours of friendship games with team members in the afternoon. On weekends, he participated in exchange matches with his coach.
With continuous practice and competitions, Tang improved his basic skills, and deepened his understanding of soccer.
Tang’s hard work and dedication paid off. By September 2022, he could use his left and right foot to alternately toss a ball 7,056 times in 50 minutes.
Tang hopes to be enrolled at Shenzhen University, and he also hopes to join a professional soccer club, and even the national team, to pursue his dream of becoming a professional player.
