A job fair for overseas returnees will be held during the 21st China International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) on Saturday and Sunday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District, offering 5,000 vacancies.
The fair attracted Fortune 500 enterprises, such as Tencent, Siemens, Walmart and the other industrial leaders engaged in finance, internet, consulting and manufacturing sectors, according to an announcement from the organizer, the Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel.
The organizer also designated a hall dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation for overseas returnees, where associations of overseas returnees, social organizations, industrial parks and enterprises set up booths to introduce talent introduction policies and incentives for entrepreneurship. The organizer will invite doctorate and post-doctorate degree holders with different academic backgrounds to conduct field trips in the city and have deep exchanges with local enterprises. Road shows for the projects and items of overseas returnees and career development forum for returnees will also be held during the fair.
This year’s conference will be held both onsite and online. It is divided into five major sections, namely the opening ceremony, forums, exhibitions and negotiations, talent recruitment and thematic activities. The online conference will offer virtual halls for exhibitions, forums, project matchmaking and online recruitment.
