In another development, academicians, university presidents and experts in the fishing industry will gather at 2023 Shenzhen Modern Fishery High Quality Development Forum to give ideas on international fishery cooperation, aquatic farming and its future development, according to Shenzhen Port Group, the organizer.

Shenzhen has geographical advantages in developing its fishing industry because of its rich sea resources, excellent sea, air, land and rail transport infrastructures, and a huge consumer market from the massive population of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The expo will serve as a platform for aquatic export and procurement, and will have over 1,000 aquatic species for sales online and on livestreaming.
