Longgang Library

Longgang Library is located in the center of Longgang District with a constructional area of 24,000 square meters. The library has a collection of 2.86 million volumes of paper literatures, 1,084 seats for readers, 300 network nodes, receiving 6,702 readers on average per day. There are three service areas for readers: a newspaper and periodicals reading area, a general book borrowing and reading area (Area I, II, III), a characteristic resource reading area (braille library, a 24-hour self-service library, a reference book reading room, and a Longgang local and Hakka literature reading room). Besides, its Hundred-Dragon Calligraphy Collection Room has collected one hundred Chinese calligraphers' authentic works of the character "long"("dragon").
