Longhua Library’s new venue will open to the public Aug. 22 at the Luhu Art Center in Guanhu Subdistrict, adding a major new reading and cultural facility to the district.

Up Library themed on the low-altitude economy is located at the helicopter operating base of Shenzhen Eastern General Aviation Co., Ltd. (Heli-Eastern).

At the 21-storey Luohu Library, readers can use 24-hour book lending/return machines and explore various reading and borrowing areas.

The Pingshan Children’s Library is designed to hold up to 100,000 volumes.

Situated at Biosphere 3 of the Carbon Neutral Park at the Dameisha Vanke Center, the Meisha Marine Library, a branch of the Dapeng Marine Library, boasts a collection of over 5,000 books covering a wide range of ocean-related topics.

Shenzhen Library’s north division, with a total construction area of 72,000 square meters, will ultimately provide more than 2,000 reading seats and house an extensive collection of 8 million books.

Shenzhen Library is one of the key cultural facilities in Shenzhen. Located at south of the beautiful Lianhua Mountain, it is a popular, digitized, and research-based large comprehensive public library, with a total building area of 49,589m2.

For Shenzheners, sitting down to read with a cup of tea or coffee in a book bar following a delightful walk in a pastoral landscape has become a common part of their leisure life.
