Shenzhen Library is one of the key cultural facilities in Shenzhen. Located at south of the beautiful Lianhua Mountain, it is a popular, digitized, and research-based large comprehensive public library, with a total building area of 49,589m2. The library is uniquely shaped with modern sense. It is divided into newspapers and periodicals reading area, children's service area, books lending area, digital library service area, and is equipped with south space, intellectual hall, Shenzhen Book Donation and Exchange Center, i library, maker space, music library, music & film room, art design collection area, world's culture area and Shenzhen school literature area. All zones are covered by wireless network. As of September 2022, has a total collection of approximately 6.29 million printed documents and 5.95 million electronic documents. It implements the policy of "Full Open, Free Entry, Layered Management and One-card Access".
