Shenzhen Children's Library

Shenzhen Children's Library is located in Futian District, which covers an area of 22,000m2 and a building area of 15,600m2. Currently, it has collected 1.92 million volumes of books, it owns 1,200 reading seats. The whole library is divided into three floors of service areas. The first floor are the Child Borrowing Area, the Classics Reading Area, the Online Learning Area, the Cultural and Creative Reading Area, the Story House under the Sycamore Tree and the Reader Lounge; the second floor are the General Service Center, the Exhibition Area, the Borrowing Area, the Chinese Classics Hall, the "Xiyue365" Reading Area, the Science and Innovation Reading Area, the Visually Impaired Reading Area, the Museum of International Education Resources and thematic-Functional Lecture Hall; the third floor are the Reading and Painting World, the Video Reading Hall, the Newspaper Reading Area and the Family Education Resource Hall. Adhering to the philosophy of "Happy Reading, Natural Life, and Healthy Growth", the library has successively carried out activities in Shenzhen Longhua District Party and Group Service Center Children’s Library, Jinglong Community Children's Library and Shenzhen Children’s Library Sanatorium Branch Health Care Library, and carried out the “Ivy League" project with the Shenzhen Primary and Secondary School Library.
