Futian Library

Located at the west of Lianhua Mountain Garden and covering a building area of 10,260m2, Futian Library has 400,000 literature collections, nearly 2,000 kinds of journals and newspapers, more than 1,200 seats and a daily reception capacity of 3,000-4,000 readers. More than 800 events are held every year. The library has a number of service zones, such as book lending zone, periodicals lending zone, digital reading space, local literature zone, reading zone for visually impaired, English lending zone for children and 24-hour self-service library. It also created a variety of special event spaces such as "a study room", "creative living space" and "picture book factory".
