Nanshan Library

Nanshan Library, located in the center of Nanshan District, is one of the landmark cultural buildings in Nanshan District with a building area of 18,700m2. It owns a collection of more than 2.6 million books and provides 1,866 seats for readers. Together with its 8 branches located in different streets, Nanshan Library receives 3,000,000 readers and holds more than 1,000 reading activities each year. In addition, Nanshan Library provides various service windows, including newspapers &periodicals reading room, adult's reading room, children's reading room, parent-child reading room, braille reading room, foreign literature reading room, classics reading room, leisure reading room, e-reading room etc. Furthermore, it also holds some characteristic reader's activities including the PhD forum, public health forum, children's reading promotion activities, psychological and legal consulting and salon on different topics.
