Bao'an Library

Bao'an District Library (New Library) has been completed and opened since the end of 2013. The venue is located on the central green axis of Bao'an central area, with a total construction area of48,000 square meters. Designed as a combination of "library + urban planning exhibition hall", Bao'an District Library is the central library of Bao'an District Public Library Service System, and provides comprehensive literature borrowing service and information service for the general public readers. In 2022, the library has a collection of nearly 2.2million books and2,000 reading seats. It is equipped with children's library, youth reading room, Infant library, newspaper reading area, Braille reading room, Red Culture Space, self-service library, book borrowing area, industrial and technical book reading area, digital service and experience area, reference and special service area and other full open-shelf literature reading rooms, as well as Familys' Genealogy room and audio-visual room, classic study, atlas reading room, lecture hall, multi-functional activity room and study hall.
