Situated within the sprawling Longgang International University Park, the medical school covers an area of 235,000 square meters. The construction plan encompasses teaching facilities, a laboratory building, a library, and administrative structures. Additionally, the medical school will feature fully equipped labs, a gymnasium and student residences.

Established in 2021, the medical school currently accommodates 700 students, with an anticipated enrollment of 6,000 students and a teaching and research faculty of 1,500. In conjunction with the medical school, the affiliated hospital located in Bantian, Longgang District is under construction. Once completed, the hospital will offer 3,000 beds, playing a pivotal role as a vital platform for medical collaboration between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
