Faster trains link SZ, GZ

Guangzhou Railway Group Corp. are operating five faster intercity trains to cut the travel time between Shenzhen and Guangzhou, according to a news release from Shenzhen North Railway Station.

Under the new schedule, trains C7068 and C7044 depart from Shenzhen Railway Station at 10:15 a.m. and 2:05 p.m., respectively, and arrive at Guangzhou East Station, with a stopover at Dongguan Station and skipping over other stations. The trip between Shenzhen and Guangzhou will take 68 minutes.

Train C7017 departing from Guangzhou East Station at 9:50 a.m. arrives in Shenzhen at 10:58 a.m. with a stopover at Changping Station.

Train C7129 departing from Guangzhou East Station at 4:27 p.m. stops over at Dongguan Station before arriving in Shenzhen, while train C7095 departing from Guangzhou East Station at 9:27 a.m. stops over at Dongguan, Changping and Zhangmutou stations, before arriving at Shenzhen Railway Station at 10:51 a.m.
