The Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center is hosting five fairs simultaneously, showcasing new technologies, products and industry trends in sectors from artificial intelligence, 5G to medical devices.

The EeIE Intelligent Equipment Industry Exposition opened yesterday in Hall 1 and Hall 3, with more than 1,000 exhibitors from home and abroad on an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. The three-day fair, focusing on themes such as intelligent manufacturing, SMT (surface mount technology) and semiconductor technologies, and new energy applications, also features industry forums and matchmaking events.

In Hall 7, the 10th Shenzhen Heat Conduction and Heat Dissipation Materials Expo has brought together cutting-edge technologies and products of the sector, while in Hall 6, more than 300 companies from home and abroad are exhibiting the sector’s leading designs, software and manufacturing techniques at the Formnext + PM South China exhibition, which covers an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters.

In Halls 9 and 10, the China International Medical Devices Exhibition 2023, covering an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, attracts roughly 1,000 exhibitors.

The five simultaneous fairs are an epitome of the Shenzhen exhibition sector’s strong recovery this year. Shenzhen has hosted more than 100 fairs this year, with roughly 20 taking place this month. The city is expected to host 24 fairs in September, including the China (Shenzhen) Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair, Shenzhen International Jewelry Fair, the Shenzhen International Charging Station (Pile) Technology and Equipment Exhibition, China International Optoelectronic Exposition and the China Charity Fair.
