Optoelectronic expo on record scale

The 24th China International Optoelectronic Exposition, which opened yesterday at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, is hosting more than 3,000 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. They are showcasing products and technologies that cover the entire optoelectronic supply chain,.

The three-day fair, with an unprecedented exhibition space of 240,000 square meters, is regarded as a one-stop sourcing platform, where exhibits ranging from materials, devices, technologies to photovoltaic industry solutions are being displayed.

Foreign exhibitors, from countries and regions including the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, have brought a large number of innovative optoelectronic products, technologies and solutions, providing new ideas.

This year’s expo, featuring more than 80 sideline events, attaches great importance to the power of scientific research. It showcases China’s cutting-edge optoelectronic scientific research results to promote technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and commercialization. At the same time, supported by the National Center for Technology Innovation for Display, the expo for the first time has set aside an exhibition area for innovative types of displays. This display area, which has been highly anticipated, has brought together renowned industry experts as well as cutting-edge technologies and resources.
