Job fair to offer more than 20,000 vacancies

Shenzhen plans to hold its largest job fair of the year next month, which will include a two-day in-person job fair at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center and a month-long online job fair, offering more than 20,000 vacancies to college graduates.

The 2023 Job Fair for Talent in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the 27th Autumn Job Fair for College Graduates will be held in-person from Nov. 22 to 23 at the Hall 17 of the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center, while the online session will take place from Nov. 1 through Dec. 6. 

Hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Guangdong Provincial Government and organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the fair is an important part of the Second National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services that will also take place in Shenzhen in November.

The in-person fair, which will invite more than 1,200 companies to offer job vacancies, is expected to attract more than 30,000 job seekers, while the online session will invite more than 1,500 employers, offering more than 20,000 job vacancies in total.

College students who graduated this year or will graduate next year, graduates who graduated less than two years ago without working experience, and college graduates from Hong Kong, Macao, and foreign countries are eligible to attend the job fair for free. Qualified employers are required to register before Nov. 1. Each employer should offer no less than 20 job vacancies in total, and 90% of the positions should have no requirement for work experience and should be suitable for new college graduates, according to the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
