Explore global delicacies at food expo

Wines from France and Germany, coffee from Italy and Australia, olive oil from Spain and Greece, tea from Nepal as well as specialties from different parts of China are being exhibited at the World Food and Agricultural Expo (Shenzhen) 2023, which opened today at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.

The three-day fair, with an exhibition area of 52,500 square meters, will also feature forums and marketing and matchmaking events, to enhance regional collaboration and international exchange.

Zhou Wenli, an official with Shenzhen's market supervision administration bureau, said the expo aims to become an important trade platform for domestic food companies planning to explore overseas markets and overseas companies hoping to tap the Chinese market, and create a new engine for the high-quality development of the food and agricultural products industry.
