

Hi-tech fair to take place in November

The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair will be held in Shenzhen between Nov. 14 and 16. More than 5,000 high-tech enterprises from over 100 countries and regions are expected to attend the fair, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.
With an exhibition area of 400,000 square meters, the fair is expected to attract 500,000 professional visitors.
A dozen professional exhibition halls will be set up to showcase breakthrough technologies and the latest high-tech achievements in fields such as major technical equipment, semiconductor and integrated circuits, electronic information and big data, artificial intelligence and robotics, the low-altitude economy and aerospace, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, high-end medical equipment, biotechnology, and more.
The previous edition of the fair was the largest in its history. The cumulative negotiated transaction amount hit 37.27 billion yuan (US$5.14 billion), according to the fair’s organizers. It also attracted delegations from 105 countries and regions and more than 4,000 companies, according to official data.
Since its inception in Shenzhen in 1999, the high-tech fair has become an important platform from which China’s high-tech sector can engage with the outside world.
