

Overseas returnees job fair to offer 3,000 vacancies

More than 3,000 job vacancies are expected to be available at the spring session of the 17th Overseas Returnees Career Fair, set to be held April 13 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District.
Organized by the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Returnees Association and www.jobshaigui.com, the fairaims to provide job opportunities to those who have studied in foreign countries and regions.
The job fair will feature a wide range of positions across various sectors, including internet, finance, consulting, manufacturing, communications, and education.
More than 150 companies are anticipated to participate in the event, with well known corporate names such as Tencent, Walmart, Foxconn, Decathlon and Standard Charteredas well as prominent organizations such as The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen agreeing to attend. Additionally, more companies may join as the registration period continues.
The fair is expected to draw morethan 10,000 people to seek jobs in Shenzhen.
“This event is poised to attract a significant number of people returning after completing their studies at prestigious institutionsin foreign countries and regions,” said a representative from the association.
A new addition to this year’s fair is a dedicated area for alumni of various institutions. Alumni representatives will be available to provide career development advice to job seekers.
Moreover, a career development forum will be offered to assist those returning after completing their studies at prestigious institutionsin foreign countries and regions in adapting to the domestic job market.
This event is part of a series of career fairs aimed at overseas Chinese returnees, with additional fairs planned in Shanghai on March 30, Beijing on April 21, and Guangzhou on April 27.
