Design Shenzhen 2025 to take place in Sept.

The third edition of Design Shenzhen, dubbed “Asia's leading consumer technology and interior design event,” will take place from Sept. 18 to 21 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian District, presenting a showcase of consumer technology, interior design, industrial design, and more.

Design Shenzhen, a new event from the influential Design Shanghai exhibition, is presented by Clarion Events Ltd., the world’s third-largest international events organizer.

According to Clarion, Design Shenzhen 2025 will introduce a new format with three key sections to spotlight the integration of technology and design — Consumer Technology, Commercial Design, and Luxury Home Design. The event is expected to attract nearly 40,000 visitors and gather nearly 120 industry leaders from the fields of design, technology, and business.

Highlights of the event include Good Design Select, WellConnect, WELLFORM, MADEDIT, E-Space, and Re: Materialize. Additionally, it will feature two major conferences — the Global Luxury Property Design Conference and the Technology and Creativity Conference.

Among the highlights, the brand-new E-Space, designed by the creative team at AS.studio, will make its global debut, offering a fresh perspective on the future of esports environments. The zone will explore how immersive aesthetics and lifestyle-driven tech can shape the evolving world of home-based esports.

The Good Design Select exhibition, curated by the G-Mark Japan Good Design Award and renowned industrial designer Shi Xiaoxi, will continue to present its “Best 100” selection. The latest winning design team of the "Best 100" — team Nothing — will make its debut at the event.

Running from Sept. 18 to 19, the Global Luxury Property Design Conference will mainly focus on luxury properties, bringing inspiration and practical experience to interior designers, developers, homeowners, and brands.

The Technology and Creativity Conference, scheduled for Sept. 20 to 21, will delve into topics such as the impact of technology and creativity on design, digital design and sustainability, design and art, and human creativity and artificial intelligence. During the conference, industrial leaders including Gadi Amit, founder and principal designer of San Francisco-based design studio NewDealDesign, will share their insights and experiences.
