Initiated in 1990, the China International Folk Art Festival has grown over the past three decades into a flagship event for China's non-governmental cultural exchanges with the world. This year marks the festival's debut in Guangdong with Foshan serving as the main venue. The troupes from various countries have also traveled to Zhuhai and Dongguan as part of the tour. On Oct. 20, they arrived in Shenzhen.
