Two ancient murrelets were spotted in the Daya Bay area of Dapeng New District recently.

Construction of the right-side tunnel for the section between Dameisha and Xichong stations on the third phase of Metro Line 8 was completed Nov. 27, marking a significant milestone in efforts to connect Dapeng New District via Metro.

Residents in Dapeng will soon be able to travel to Longgang and Pingshan districts within half an hour once the Dapeng branch of the Shenzhen-Huizhou Railway becomes operational, Nanfang Daily reported.

The globally renowned resort chain Club Med has announced plans to establish a presence in CITIC Bay in Dapeng New District. The announcement was made during a signing ceremony held at the Wuzhou Guest House on Nov. 29.

In September, Dapeng released guidelines for the high-quality development of low-altitude aviation, which will be effective from 2024 to 2026.

Tourists in Dapeng New Area now have the opportunity to experience air taxi services thanks to a partnership between Heli-Eastern and the Yun Resort Shenzhen Longcheer. The resort will serve as the new helicopter route's terminal.
