Boston-based 3D printing company Formlabs signed a partnership agreement with Digital China in Shenzhen on Friday. Formlabs expects to leverage Digital China's strength in distribution to further expand into the Chinese market.

Shenzhen, along with Beijing, Shanghai, and Hainan Province, have been chosen to pilot expanding opening up in value-added telecom services, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced yesterday.

Nearly 70 members of Hong Kong and Macao commercial associations and representatives from tech and research institutes, gathered at the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Cooperation Zone on Friday to explore the park's innovative environment, key industrial areas, and preferential policies in search of business opportunities.

The 2024 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) will take place at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District (main venue) and the Shenzhen Airport Yacht Marina (subvenue) from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, according to its organizers.

On Sept. 29, Shenzhen modified policies, allowing non-local residents to purchase apartments in non-core areas such as Yantian, Bao'an (excluding Xin'an Subdistrict and Xixiang Subdistrict), Longgang, Longhua, Pingshan, Guangming, and Dapeng New Area without requiring personal income tax or social insurance certificates. Expats were observed in the property sales outlets during the holiday, as evidenced by photos shared on the WeChat moments of housing agents in Longhua.

Fueled by favorable policies, Shenzhen’s residential real estate market witnessed an uptick in inquiries, viewings, and deals over the National Day holiday.

Prominent Shenzhen-based companies like Huawei, BYD, and DJI were featured on the list of China's top 100 brands expanding internationally, which was unveiled for the first time at the 13th World Industrial Development Forum held Friday.
