Shenzhen-based battery material manufacturer BTR New Material Group’s first overseas lithium-ion battery anode factory has started operations in Indonesia, with Indonesian President Joko Widodo presiding over the opening ceremony.

Areas in Shenzhen Bay, Qianhai Bay, and Futian District have been designated as three of the 10 industrial clusters of AI (artificial intelligence) technologies in Shenzhen.

The Shenzhen Mountaineering and Outdoor Sports Association (SMOA) has established a climbing base at the Yuzhu Peak International Mountaineering Town in Qinghai Province, officially opening August 8.
