Featuring Chinese hibiscus as its theme flower, the Hong Kong Flower Show to be held at Victoria Park on March 15-24 will showcase a rich profusion of potted plants, beautiful floral arrangements and gorgeous landscape displays by local and international participants. There will also be commercial stalls selling flowers and other horticultural products.

The annual flower show is a signature horticultural event in the territory and draws support from hundreds of horticultural organizations, private firms and government departments. During the show period, a rich diversity of educational and recreational fringe activities will also be organized for the enjoyment of visitors of all ages. They include a student drawing competition, photo competition, exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, greening activities workshops, green promotional game stalls, guided visits, recreation programs and fun games.
There are floral displays and landscaped gardens in the show that will be enhanced with a subtle play of light and shadow to showcase the beauty of the blossoms by night.
