US indie pop band The Score to debut in SZ| June 19

U.S. indie pop band The Score will perform a gig at Hou Live.
The Score
The band consists of Eddie Anthony (vocals, guitar) and Edan Dover (keyboard, producer). They were signed to Republic Records in 2015 after their song “Oh My Love” was featured in an advertising campaign for ASDA supermarkets. According to ASDA, part of the reason why they selected the song was because “they were unsigned and unknown.” The song’s placement in the advertisement helped The Score rise in the public eye, and “Oh My Love” reached No. 43 on the U.K. Singles Chart in July 2015. That same year, the track became the most-searched song from an advertisement by the Shazam music identification service. The song also appeared in the 2015 film “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.”
They released their debut extended play “Where Do You Run” in September 2015. A song from that EP, “On and On,” was featured in the spring programming lineup for HBO.
