Sunday Brunch and Poolside BBQ @ InterContinental Shenzhen

With the summer heating up, InterContinental Shenzhen invites you to enjoy the tropical gardens, tranquil pool, and refreshing breeze with its brand new Sunday Brunch and BBQ by the Pool. On Saturday evenings, the hotel fires up one of the hottest dining options in town where guests can relax by the poolside and enjoy an authentic Brazilian BBQ. On Sundays, the hotel offers a luxurious sharing set menu for brunch as well as complimentary access to the hotel’s 2,000 square-meter pool. Both promotions include free flow sangria and lemonade.

The place to be on Saturday evenings is at the Poolside BBQ. Guests can enjoy a buffet of authentic Brazilian BBQ that includes a mouthwatering choice of churrasco, meat broiled on a spit over an open fire.

Guests can enjoy beef rump cap and New Zealand lamb chops as well as pork neck and Brazilian black pepper sausage. At the live seafood grill station guests can find roasted scallops with tomato chili sauce, baked mussels with garlic sauce, and Brazilian-style roasted prawns. Make sure to make the most of the available authentic BBQ sauces, in particular the Molho a Pimentado, a sauce made from a mix of chili and tomato, and the Chimichurri sauce, the classic Argentinean mixed fresh herb sauce.

Desserts，such as the banana chocolate cheese cake and black cherry and almond tart, will provide a happy suprise to diners. Adults can also enjoy a free flow of sparkling white sangria, with the Iberian wine and fruit punch as the perfect summer drink for those looking to relax and rewind. There’s also a free flow of homemade watermelon and passion fruit lemonade for those not drinking and for the little ones.

Now that the summer has arrived, guests may enjoy their long sunny days by sunbathing on the sand and taking a dip in the pool, enjoying a luxurious brunch, and sipping on a refreshing cold drink. Starting from July 5, guests can enjoy all this and more with the hotel’s brand new Sunday Brunch at the La Parilla Garden.

The sharing set menu is served from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. at the La Parilla Garden with guests treated to free flow drinks. After finishing brunch, guests can enjoy the rest of the day by the swimming pool. It’s the perfect way to spend the weekend this summer.

When the summer comes round, the first thing we often think of is going swimming, and there is no better place to swim in the city than in the 2,000 square meter pool at the InterContinental Shenzhen. Featuring a sunken Galleon ship and gushing waterfalls, the pool has plenty to keep the kids entertained throughout the day, while parents can relax and take in the sun on the real sand beach that is as beautiful and pristine as some of the finest shores in Southeast Asia.

Brunch starts with aplomb with a Pintxos Platter. Guests are able to enjoy a taste of the hotel’s Spanish influence with this starter that includes Tuna, Parma Ham, Asparagus, Tomato Salsa, and Avocado.

The centerpiece of the brunch meal is the main course platter, and what a spectacle it is! Guests are spoiled with an absolute feast consisting of a quite simply mouthwatering selection of roasted spring chicken, sole fish, shrimp, pickled sauerkraut, potato wedges, baby carrots, and asparagus, with a delicious dip of mustard and tomato salsa. Guests can also choose from pasta with vegetables and tomato sauce and pasta au gratin with chicken and butter mushrooms. After the main course, there are plenty of treats for those with a sweet tooth. Options include a delectable passion fruit cake and a selection of fresh seasonal fruits.

Guests can also enjoy free flow Sparkling White Sangria and Homemade Watermelon and Passion Fruit Lemonade.
