The Z10 Club, founded and operated by the Shenzhen News Group (SNG) International Communication Center, has been ranked first among Shenzhen’s Top 10 Exemplary Cases of International Communication.
The results were announced yesterday at the Fourth Greater Bay Area International Communication Academic Conference, held at Shenzhen University and co-hosted by Shenzhen University, the Chinese Society for the History of Journalism and Communication, the Shenzhen Research Center for Urban Communication Innovation, and the Qianhai Academy of International Communication.

As an innovative benchmark in Shenzhen’s international outreach, the SNG International Communication Center launched the Z10 Club in early 2025. Its core members include outstanding students from 10 universities such as Shenzhen University, the Southern University of Science and Technology, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The club currently has 60 members from 24 countries.

The club has organized nearly 20 exchange events for international students in Shenzhen. Its flagship initiatives include the Greenwise Xplore Road Trip in the Greater Bay Area — a multi-city tour highlighting clean energy and tech innovation — coverage of streamer IShowSpeed’s visit to Shenzhen, and a series of reports on Shenzhen Week at the China Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka.
The 10 selected cases were chosen from more than 100 submissions by 33 institutions since the call for entries began Oct. 30. They reflect collaborative efforts between mainstream media and individual creators, as well as co-creation between foreign and local journalists.
The SNG International Communication Center also contributed to two other winning cases.

Uruguay’s leading newspaper Diario La R publishes a feature titled “Shenzhen: A Pioneering City of Reform and Innovation,” spotlighting the city’s transformation into a hub of technological vitality.
Shenzhen Daily, operated under the center, played a key role in the Foreign Media Co‑creation Initiative — Leveraging Foreign Media Visits to Shenzhen case, which was led by the Shenzhen Municipal Foreign Affairs Office.

The official website of the Solomon Islands reports on the national media delegation’s visit to Shenzhen News Group, marking a step forward in media cooperation and international communication.
The initiative has partnered with 23 mainstream foreign media outlets across Asia, Africa, and South America, resulting in 43 multilingual works about Shenzhen being published in overseas media in English, Arabic, and Spanish.
Additionally, the center participated in the "Make it Shenzhen" global promotion campaign launched by multiple government departments. The campaign includes a foreign-language competence competition and solicits short videos and written reports to showcase Shenzhen to the world.
