World Match Racing Tour final sets sail in SZ

The 2025 World Match Racing Tour (WMRT) Shenzhen • Bao’an Final, which runs through Jan. 11, boasts a total prize purse of US$200,000. The tournament, which 16 world-class skippers are participating in, marks Shenzhen’s first major international sporting event of 2026, dubbed the APEC “China Year.” As one of World Sailing’s top 10 special events worldwide, the WMRT is hailed as the “F1 on water.”
