Cross-border helicopter services linking Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao are cutting travel times between the three cities, promoting premium business travel and sightseeing tours, and strengthening low-altitude connectivity across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Currently, key destinations include Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, Shekou Cruise Homeport, central Futian, and Houhai in Shenzhen; Shun Tak Heliport and Hong Kong International Airport in Hong Kong; and Macao International Airport in Macao.

A spokesperson for Shenzhen’s entry and exit authorities said the helicopter link will help build the GBA’s “one-hour living circle” and open up new possibilities for emergency rescue and time-sensitive business logistics.
