The China Spallation Neutron Source is a powerful multidisciplinary research platform — supporting materials science, physics, chemistry and chemical engineering, life sciences, resources and environmental studies, and new energy — and is the world’s fourth pulsed spallation neutron source.

Across the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, clusters of large scientific facilities — some under construction and others already operational — are beginning to take shape, helping the region accelerate its development into an international center for science and technology innovation.
