The Sino-Israeli Innovation Center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will settle in Huaqiang Creative Industry Park in Guangming in the second half of this year, a forum held in Guangming announced Tuesday.

The forum, organized by Huaqiang Group and Messila Academy, attracted more than 40 representatives from financing and incubation industries in Israel to share their experiences with Chinese representatives in life engineering, green science, bio-medicine, medical appliances, clean energy and fintech.

The innovation center will offer services to promote cooperation between China and Israel in science, trade, culture and security. It will help enterprises in Guangming expand into the global market, while at the same time promoting the transformation of Israeli technologies in Shenzhen, according to Huaqiang Group.

At the forum, winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2011 Daniel Shechtman, president of Edouard Cukierman, the largest investment company in Israel, Haggay Ravid, and vice chairman of Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce Ben Bar, gave lectures on Israeli innovation and the marketing strategies of Israeli enterprises in China.

Israel has a population of 8.75 million and per capita GDP has reached US$30,000.
