The 5G technologies have been installed on routes 10 and 14 of the city’s bus service system, and Lianhua Hill Bus Station has become China’s first 5G bus station.
The two bus routes, covering Luohu and Futian districts, carry around 12,000 passengers a day.
Passengers can access the 5G network and experience high speeds with low delays for downloading and watching movies for free. Passengers can also enjoy sightseeing through Cloud VR, which provides information about landmarks passed along the routes.
