Gong Linna

Chinese fusion singer Gong Linna will bring her GongLuo New Art Ensemble to present a night of familiar Chinese folk tunes and new pieces composed by her husband Robert Zollitsch (also known as Lao Luo). The new songs were inspired by “The Classic of Poetry,” the oldest existing collection of Chinese poetry, comprising more than 300 works dating from the 11th to 6th centuries B.C.

GongLuo New Art Ensemble is a dynamic chamber music band founded by Gong and her husband. In addition to traditional Chinese instruments, the ensemble also excels in performances of Western musical instruments such as the accordion and the cello.
