China Southern Airlines opens SZ-Amsterdam route

China Southern Airlines will operate flights between Shenzhen and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, starting from Jan. 2, 2023.

The weekly flight CZ8091 will depart Shenzhen at 2 p.m. Monday (Beijing time) and arrive in Amsterdam at 8 p.m. (local time).

Return flight CZ8092 will depart Amsterdam at 2:10 p.m. Monday (local time) and arrive in Shenzhen at 9 p.m. Monday (Beijing time), according to a release of China Southern Airlines Shenzhen Company at its official WeChat account csairsz.

This is the second international route from Shenzhen to Europe operated by China Southern Airlines following the route between Shenzhen and Moscow.

This December, China Southern Airlines added flights to major tourist destinations in Yunnan Province such as Kunming, Xishuangbanna, Lijiang and Dali. So far, it operates six flights a day to Kunming, two flights a day to Dali, Lijiang and Xishuangbanna.

It also added flights on routes to Chengdu, Guiyang, Wuhan and Qingdao. It operates eight flights a day from Shenzhen to Chengdu, five flights to Wuhan, four flights to Guiyang and three flights to Qingdao, according to a notice released yesterday.
