Shenzhen Yantian Port signed an agreement with the Chenzhou government in Hunan Province on building Chenzhou Inland Port at the Shenzhen International Port Chain Strategy Forum held in Futian District on Thursday.

The Chenzhou port became the 13th inland port of Shenzhen Port, which is now the fourth-largest port in the world in terms of container throughput.

In 2022, Shenzhen Port added six inland ports into its rail and sea shipment network. Between January and November, Shenzhen Port completed 210,000 TEUs via sea-rail combined transport, up by 2.73% year on year, official data showed.
