Since 1990, the oil field has produced a total of over 300 million tons of crude oil and 56 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It has also seen an output increase of more than 5.4 million tons of crude oil since 2019, accounting for one-third of the country’s total during the period.

In the past four years, the oil field’s annual natural gas production volume has exceeded 6 billion cubic meters, providing about a quarter of the annual natural gas consumption in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
