Over hundreds of rose varieties will be featured at the 2023 Shenzhen Rose Show, which will officially open to the public tomorrow and run until March 27, sources from the city’s urban management authority said yesterday.

The main venue of the rose show, located at Shenzhen Renmin Park in Luohu District, will present over 300 types of roses mainly in five exhibition areas, covering an area totaling 17,500 square meters.

One of the park’s staffers told Shenzhen Daily that roses prefer temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius, and Shenzhen’s current climate is perfect for the roses to bloom.

Qinchun Garden, an area in the park, was previously used for seedling cultivation and will open to the public for the first time to display nearly 90 rose varieties. In addition, spring-themed floral installations will be displayed at the park’s Rose Palace. Market stalls will also be open to offer visitors cultural consumption scenarios.

Additionally, a series of cultural activities such as music performances and DIY floral courses will be held in Renmin Park during the rose show.
