Gong Linna

Chinese singer Gong Linna will bring her GongLuo New Art Ensemble to present a night of Chinese folk tunes and new pieces composed by her husband Robert Zollitsch (also known as Lao Luo). The new songs were inspired by “The Classic of Poetry,” comprising more than 300 works dating from the 11th to 6th centuries B.C.

Fortepiano concerts

Listen to the special sounds from the earliest version of the modern piano at young pianist Wang Yuehan’s two fortepiano recitals. She will present sonatas by Mozart including his“Fantasy in D Minor, KV397” and four sonatas (KV330, KV331, KV332, KV457) Saturday night and then five of Haydn’s sonatas (No. 53, 58, 59, 60, 62) Sunday.

Violin concert

Violinist Tarn Travers and pianist Konstantinos Valianatos, two resident faculty members from The Tianjin Juilliard School, will present Mozart’s “Violin Sonata in E Minor, K. 304” and “Violin Sonata in G Major, K. 379,” Faure’s “Violin Sonata in A Major, Op. 13” and Grieg’s “Violin Sonata in C Minor, Op. 45.”

Modern dance
