Shenzhen's third MixC shopping mall will be located in Pingshan District, according to the district’s 2023 work plan on key area construction and development released Monday, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported.
The shopping complex is expected to provide more convenience to local residents in buying luxury goods and improve their shopping experience.
The other two MixC shopping malls in the city are situated in Luohu and Nanshan districts.
The MixC mall project of the China Resources Group is commonly regarded as a bellwether for domestic high-end commerce.
The first MixC mall in China — MixC in Luohu, has introduced multiple international first-rate fashion boutiques since its opening in 2004, firmly occupying the position of “the top shopping mall” in Shenzhen.
According to the 2022 earnings report released by CR Mixc Lifestyle, the company achieved a comprehensive income of 12.016 billion yuan (US$1.74 billion) last year, up 35.4% year on year. CR Mixc Lifestyle is a strategic business unit under the China Resources Group focusing on property management and commercial operation services.
In addition to the MixC mall, Pingshan will also promote the construction of several other commercial complexes this year for the development of core commercial circles in the district.
