The 7th Shenzhen International Photography Exhibition opened at OCT-LOFT in Nanshan District on Thursday. On display are 59 documentary photos and 58 artistic photos submitted by photographers from 18 countries.

Robot welcomes freshmen at SZU

The food drone delivery industry receives significant attention at the ongoing 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services in Beijing. In Shenzhen, many business districts and office buildings are equipped with drone delivery pickup kiosks. During the lunch peak hours, customers can have their orders delivered by drones, which reduces the customers’ waiting time and compensates for the inadequate delivery capacity. Moreover, drones can deliver orders to tourist attractions.

Saola leaves SZ largely unscathed
Saola, the ninth typhoon of this year, brought strong winds and heavy rain to Shenzhen, but did not cause major damages. Saola churned ashore in Zhuhai at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, and weakened into strong tropical storm and made second landfall in Yangjiang City at about 1:50 p.m. on the same day.

The SIAL Shenzhen exhibition opened yesterday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District. The exhibition, running through tomorrow, gathers over 1,200 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions, showcasing a diverse array of food and drinks, alongside catering facilities, in 24 categories.
