Covering 238,000 square meters, Wuzhiba Forest Park in Guangming District connects Wuzhiba Park in Bao'an District. Residents can jog on a 650-meter-long trail for mild exercise, while hikers can try a 4-kilometer-long trail winding down the mountain and children can play with various facilities on a playground.

​Located in Dakang Community, Yuanshan Subdistrict, Yushan Scenic Area is a National AAA tourist spots covering an area of 10 square kilometers. The natural vegetation here generally retains intact and is called the city's "green lung." The main peak of the park at an altitude of 599 meters is 1.58 kilometers away from the Egongji Mountain at an altitude of 618 meters.

The Xinzhou Mangrove Greenway, which was built along the Xinzhou River with some sections elevated above the river banks, has become a new leisure spot for locals.

Longhua District is renowned for its Hakka roots which can be traced back 600 years ago. Many centuries-old diaolou buildings, formerly fortified multistory watchtowers in rural villages, can still be found in the district's old villages such as Guanlan Printmaking Village, Shangwei Art Village and New Who Art Village.
