To better tell the story of Shenzhen and showcase its innovation to the world, influencers Francisco Manna from Brazil and Pooneh Dabiri from Iran, both residing in Shenzhen, joined EyeShenzhen and Shenzhen Daily at Shenzhen Week, which was held May 12 to 14 at the China Pavilion during Expo 2025 Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

The first Global AI Device Expo and the 6th Shenzhen Global AI Expo (GAIE) are set to open May 22 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District. The three-day event promises to be a landmark occasion, highlighting the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) terminals and the broader AI ecosystem.

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the friendship between Shenzhen and Osaka and in honor of the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Shenzhen presented a unique gift – two music albums – to both the city of Osaka and Expo 2025 Osaka during the opening ceremony of Shenzhen Week at the Expo yesterday.

The Shenzhen Week at the China Pavilion of the 2025 Osaka Expo was officially inaugurated at Yumeshima artificial island in Osaka, Japan today.  The event, through the captivating fusion of cutting-edge technology and intangible cultural heritage, has opened a gateway for Shenzhen to integrate with the world, allowing global visitors to witness the youthful dynamism of Shenzhen, China’s innovation-driven city.  

Having dedicated himself to DNA damage repair for nearly 40 years, Shunichi Takeda, a distinguished professor at Shenzhen University’s Medical School, has long been passionate about the research. Now, he hopes to serve as a bridge, encouraging more Japanese researchers to collaborate in Shenzhen.
