Red alert for rainstorms issued
​The Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau upgraded the orange rainstorm warning to red at 7:55 this morning as heavy rainfall is expected to continue in Guangming District, Baoan District (Songgang, Shiyan, Fuyong, Shajing, Hangcheng, Fuhai, Xinqiao, Yanluo subdistricts), Longgang District (Longgang, Pingdi, Longcheng, Pinghu, Baolong subdistricts), Longhua District (Dalang, Longhua, Guanhu, Fucheng, Guanlan subdistricts) and Pingshan District (Longtian Subdistrict). The weather authority has also issued a citywide orange alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong wind.
