The Southwest University of Political Science & Law (SWUPL) has recently unveiled its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Research Institute in Nanshan District.

As part of the city’s third batch of new construction projects for 2024, the first phase of Metro Line 27 stands out as a significant development in the city’s public transportation network.

Hosted by the Shenzhen X9 Alliance of Universities and Institutes Around X-Lake Sciensity (X9 Alliance) and organized by the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, the 2024 X-Lake Forum opened in Shenzhen on Nov. 15.

Ouyang Zheng, dean of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, presided over the main forum, which brought together distinguished scientists.

A total of 37 projects in Nanshan, excluding those managed by the Qianhai Authority, have commenced construction, with a total investment of 12.36 billion yuan (US$1.7 billion) and a planned investment of 4.61 billion yuan for 2024.

Three companies from Nanshan have made it onto the 2024 Guangdong Top 100 Overseas-Funded Enterprises List, which was released at the recently concluded 2024 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Guangzhou.

The 2nd Global Youth Cross-Border E-Commerce Digital Marketing Training Camp, co-organized by Yuehai Subdistrict Office and Shenzhen University’s College of International Exchange, was launched at the Yuehai Enterprise Service Center in Nanshan District on Nov. 9.

The Eintracht Frankfurt (Shenzhen Nanshan) Football Training Center was officially inaugurated at the Dasha River Park in Nanshan District on Nov. 2. The event marked another significant milestone in the collaboration between Nanshan and the German football club Eintracht Frankfurt.
