Longhua District will celebrate the eighth anniversary of its establishment as an administrative district tomorrow.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Innovation Lab for Sustainable Development Goals, also known as HUA HUB, held the Capacity Building Training on Sustainable International Public Procurement (Shenzhen) at the Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC) on Friday and Saturday.

For the first time, Longhua District was recognized for its achievements in business and investment promotion at the annual Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference, which was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District on Dec. 6.

The much-anticipated Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital Longhua Hospital officially opened Thursday.

​The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Innovation Lab (Shenzhen Longhua), known as HUA HUB, launched the Youth Social Design Bootcamp for International Sustainable Communities project during a Shenzhen Day side event at the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Tuesday.

On Nov. 1, around 40 people — including deputies and members of the Longhua District People’s Congress and the Longhua District Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), subdistrict representatives, reporters, as well as expats and local residents — took a sightseeing bus to experience the changes and developments in Longhua's various sectors that are closely related to people's wellbeing, such as education, healthcare, and technological advancement.

Government officials, local enterprises, and international service institutions from home and abroad gathered at the Longhua International Cooperation Center (LICC) yesterday to share insights and expertise on the international expansion of local businesses during a summary conference for the center’s international service projects.

Officially launched Oct. 27, 2023, LICC is a comprehensive service center focused on enhancing international cooperation between Shenzhen and the global community in areas such as the economy, trade, science and technology, education, and culture. It offers one-stop, multilingual services to local and international talent, enterprises, and institutions.
