The official website of the People’s Government of Pingshan District has secured the sixth place among Chinese districts and counties in the national government website evaluation rankings, as announced at a recent conference hosted by the China Software Test Center (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center).

Renowned Austrian conductor Prof. Christoph Campestrini gave a masterclass to primary school orchestras in Pingshan District on Dec. 17 as part of the China Youth & Children's Orchestra Development Program in 2024.

In the four-minute video, viewers have a glimpse into Pingshan’s landmarks, cultural attractions, and natural landscapes, including the Shenzhen Pingshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Shenzhen State Biological Industry Base, Shenzhen Natural History Museum, BYD headquarters, SkyShuttle, robotaxis, Shenzhen Technology University, Pingshan Culture Center, Dawan Ancestral Residence, Maluan Mountain, and Shenzhen Pingshan Changshou Dramaville.

Many manufacturers in Pingshan District are posting job openings due to a surge in production driven by increased orders and expansion plans. To support these companies, district authorities have introduced various recruitment services.

Pingshan River has been named in the 2024 list of exemplary provincial-level beautiful rivers and lakes released by the Guangdong Province Department of Ecology and Environment.

Shenzhen’s official government service app, “iShenzhen” (i深圳), offers a comprehensive array of services for residents, tourists and enterprises, covering essential needs such as healthcare, education, transportation, and tourism.

A newly established wastewater treatment plant within the Shenzhen State Biological Industry Base located in Pingshan District is the city’s first and only treatment facility dedicated to serving a biopharmaceutical base.

The Government Services and Data Management Bureau of Pingshan District has recently collaborated with China Mobile and China Telecom to offer free Wi-Fi 7 service in public areas, making it the first district in the city to pilot this cutting-edge technology.
