On Sept. 17, Bao’an District’s first physical Overseas Talent Service Station was opened in Cambridge, the U.K. This initiative marks a significant step by Bao’an District to deepen and expand its international channels for attracting global talent.

Bao'an ranked second in Shenzhen for new registrations of both business entities and individual businesses, according to Bao’an Daily.

​During the recent National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday that ended Oct. 8, Bao’an District received over 1.89 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 22.23%.

Bao’an District has made comprehensive preparations for the events of the upcoming National Games, as announced at a news conference held Sept. 16.

The number of business entities registered in Bao’an District had surpassed 1 million by the end of July 2025, reaching 1,003,102. This milestone cements Bao’an’s status as the top-ranked district (county) in China by the number of business entities.

Bao' an District’s Xixiang Subdistrict secured the second position nationwide for the second consecutive year, while Xin’an Subdistrict ranked seventh among the Top 500 Vibrant Subdistricts 2025 list, which was released by the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) Sichuan Co. on Aug. 18. Bao’an’s other eight subdistricts were also included on the list.

Bao'an District has ranked fourth among China’s Top 100 Districts for the third consecutive year, according to a report released by consultancy firm CCID Consulting, a subsidiary of the China Center for Information Industry Development.

The Bao' an “Worry-Free Space,” a flagship initiative supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, has recently entered a new phase of expansion, adding six premier industrial parks to its ecosystem.
