A delegation of British entrepreneurs visited Shenzhen-based WeBank and Han’s Laser on Oct. 30 to learn about the financial and advanced manufacturing industries in the expanded Qianhai area, according to Bao'an Daily.

After 40 years of development, Bao’an District has transformed into a high-end, intelligent manufacturing hub and an economic powerhouse.

The Bao'an District UAV System Application Test Base (Yanluo) had welcomed 498 visits from UAV companies and industry-related enterprises in 119 batches since its opening in May, according to Bao'an Daily.

According to Bao’an Daily, around 20 smart cabinets that offer citizens free rentals of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches will be installed at public venues, including communities and schools across Bao’an District.

Over 80 pieces of cultural relics and treasures along the ancient Silk Road are being exhibited at Bao’an Library. The exhibition, a key event of Bao’an District’s cultural heritage month, will last for two weeks.

The Bao’an District pavilion received a record-breaking 200,000 visits during the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) which concluded May 27.

Bao’an District has recently initiated the construction of 32 new projects for the second quarter of this year.

Bao'an District recently unveiled its low-altitude economic industry public service center, the first of its kind in the district, as well as its UAV system application test base, as reported by Bao'an Daily.
