"Dancing is a great way to express oneself and gain confidence. It's also the best remedy against feeling down," said Patrice Guilemond, an embedded software engineer from France who teaches salsa for free in Shenzhen on weekends.

For salsa lovers, every Wednesday night from 9:30 p.m. till midnight there is a salsa party at Merci Club, Shopping Park.
